SYDNEY, NSW: Tannoy has released two new HTS loudspeaker systems developed to fit into any living room, large or small in a discreet yet sophisticated manner.

According to Tannoy, the HTS is a new breed of speakers created after extensive research and development into what consumers were looking for: high performance in a compact system.

“Engineered to deliver a big sound and high energy movie thrills from the smallest of cabinets, Tannoy has combined high tech neodymium drivers and its famous Wideband Tweeter technology with (proper) high density wood fibre cabinets,” said a spokesperson for the speaker company.

The HTS is available in two packages, for the smaller and larger room. The HTS 101 has been developed for smaller spaces. It features a centre channel with twin mid-bass drivers for cinema dialogue and an active subwoofer.

The HTS 201 is designed for larger rooms and delivers a larger scale sound across the front soundstage. This system features a pair of satellites for rear effects, a centre and the subwoofer.

HTS 101 system (4 x satellites, centre, sub) RRP $1,299

HTS 201 system (2 x towers, 2 x satellites, centre, sub) RRP $1,699
