Speaking about the appointment, Seeley International founder and executive chairman Frank Seeley said Pack was well placed to perform in the new role, thanks to experience across the wholesale, retail and commercial sectors.

“Seeley International takes pride in attracting and retaining only the best of people and we are thrilled to welcome Tony to the team,” said Mr Seeley. “I look forward to working with him to ensure the sale of our entire retail product range continues to go from strength to strength under the famous Convair brand, and through expanded distribution arrangements.”

Pack has held a number of sales, marketing and purchasing roles in the industry during his career. He joined Global Electronics in 2005 where he worked as overseas purchasing manager and general manager of sales and marketing, responsible for procuring house brand electronics and appliances from China for a number of Australian retailers, including Bunnings, Kmart, The Good Guys, Retravision and Coles.

Prior to Global Electronics, Pack worked as merchandising manager for Errol Stewarts in Queensland, before it was merged with Vox; as a manager of commercial sales at TEAC; and on the retail side with a stint as an AV buyer at JB Hi-Fi. Pack also worked as the sales and marketing director of GAF Control, responsible for the Heller, Pye and Sunair brands.

“Whether it is sales, marketing or management disciplines, Tony offers outstanding national and international experience across electronics, whitegoods and heating/cooling products and a proven ability to identify emerging market trends,” said Seeley.

“One of his key strengths has been negotiating and brokering large-scale distribution agreements, and because he understands every aspect of the selling, merchandising and marketing process I have no doubt that he will play a critical role in the next exciting chapter of Seeley International in retail.”
