Leading telecommunications company Uniden is supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s search for a cure this Mother’s Day by donating $10 from every sale of its limited edition ELITE cordless phone.

The ELITE 9036+1 will hit stores from today and features a glossy white finish and an illuminated bright pink keypad, it will retail for $199.95.

Brad Hales, Uniden senior marketing executive, was very excited about sponsoring the foundation and says the initiative is a positive contribution towards finding a cure for a disease that affects thousands of Australian women every year.

“We are pleased to be a corporate sponsor of the national Breast Cancer Foundation and hope that our contribution assists in finding a cure for breast cancer sooner rather than later,” said Hales.

Hales also emphasised that the ELITE range is one of the company’s top sellers and he hopes Australians will continue to support it over the promotional period, and support Uniden’s call for a cure this Mother’s Day.

In 2007, Uniden ran a similar promotion where they donated the proceeds from the sale of a limited edition WDECT 2316 pink cordless phone, raising $55,000 in total for the charity.
