Yamaha Corporation has introduced the new CD-C603 5-Disc CD changer, promising a truly unique CD listening experience, boasting Pure Direct mode and Play X Change which allows users to change discs while another disc is playing.

High-quality sound is made possible through sophisticated circuitry and layout, an intelligent digital servo motor, a laser pickup floating mechanism, and more.

Pure Direct is the same feature included in Yamaha amplifiers and receivers. By pressing the button on the front panel or on the remote control, it shuts down the digital audio output and turns off the display to achieve the lowest possible noise interference and as a result, highest sound quality of the analog audio output.

Play X Change means CDs can be changed while the CD currently playing will keep playing. In addition, the CD-C603 has a full opening disc tray which facilitates changing five discs at the same time.

The CD-C603 plays music with sound full of dynamics and clarity. There have been further upgrades in the internal layout of the CD-C603 in comparison to its predecessors, further improving sound quality. In addition to CDs, the CD-C603 also supports high-quality playback of music files (MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, FLAC) stored on USB memory devices via a USB port on the front panel.

The Yamaha CD-C603 is available in black and silver for RRP $899.
