Sunbeam found success in smalls last year, racking up impressive sales figures for small appliances, according to GfK Retail and Technology data for January to December 2011.  

According to the company, Sunbeam was the number one brand across Australia’s small appliance market, with December moving annual total (MAT) figures placing Sunbeam at the top of 14 of the small appliance categories it operates in, both in terms of sales volume and value.

Speaking about the success was Sunbeam CEO David Jackson.

“Sunbeam is committed to continually evolving its products, and the wide range on offer demonstrates the continued demand by Australian consumers for our products,” he said.

“The latest data was a positive start to 2012 and demonstrates the strength of our offer and brand, with Sunbeam coming out on top in 14 categories.

“It’s certainly a changing retail environment but one thing that remains consistent for Australian consumers is quality and value for money, and this data shows Sunbeam remains a clear leader in these areas.”
