The new Videopro website is delivering strong sales for the specialist audio visual company with January sales up on December.

“The new website was a project that was in the works for nine months and I believe it is the most technologically advanced website in our industry,” Videopro CEO, Cameron Douglas told Appliance Retailer.

“It utilises headless architecture for a more seamless customer experience and offers significant improvements in search functionality. We know that a good experience online fuels in store visits for customers so with the growth in online shopping accelerated by Covid, it was time for an update.”

Since the website launch at the end of November 2021, the average order value has been $1,150 and the largest single order was $12,763. The LG 55-inch OLED TV has been the most popular product purchased and Sonos has been the most popular brand among customers.

Despite the solid online gains, Videopro stores outperformed the channel in a like-for-like comparison over the last two months.
