Vestel exhibited for the first time at EuroCucina 2022 in Milan with a range of built-in and freestanding appliances as well as an emphasis on interactivity and sustainability.
Vestel demonstrated the Veezy app which provides the opportunity for users to set and manage the functions and programs using iOS and Android smart devices.
Other key products on display featuring espresso grey designs for a soft and contemporary appearance were a new 60cm built in oven, 60cm induction hob, combo fridge/freezer, 12-place setting dishwasher, 10kg washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a new air conditioner.
“Perfectly in line with this year’s EuroCucina theme of sustainability, the efficient range delivers time and energy-saving control, health benefits and programme customisations, seamlessly fitting into versatile open-plan kitchens,” the company said.
Several of the smart products introduced by Vestel featured PureBeam+ eco technology based on UVC LED light technology to sterilise the products.
The fridge/freezer uses PureBeam+ eco technology to break down any harmful bacteria and viruses collected through the odour-neutralising filter while the dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer use the technology to sterilise each load. Similarly, the air conditioner’s PureBeam+ feature works to inactivate air-borne bacteria and viruses, such as H1N1, SARS-Cov2 and Staphylococcus Aureus, while the air is being circulated throughout the indoor unit.
Vestel’s built-in cooking range was launched with the approach of delivering “restaurant-quality cooking techniques to more homes” the company said.
“Finished in silver, the 78-litre 60cm ovens, with their cutting-edge algorithm and steam-base, offer a sous-vide mode for healthier, tender and succulent dishes, as well as fast and efficient functions for steam-assisted cooking and self-cleaning cycles,” the company said.
“Made to match the Vestel glass design warming drawer, the 50-litre 45cm compact built-in oven also offers steam-assisted functions to deliver flavoursome, vitamin-rich dishes that remain crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
“Other full-size 60cm built-in ovens on display include chic matte black 78-litre models with special diamond cut knob and handle designs that can offer patented features for advanced support. While the Heatwrap function enables four different or five of the same dishes to be cooked together, the ultra-efficient Hot Air Shield prevents hot air from escaping whenever the oven door is open.”
Other products on display included built-in dishwashers with a design focus and slider touch door controls for ease of operation, built-in fridge/freezers, steam-assisted 8kg built-in washing machine and 7/5kg washer dryer with ultra-hygienic and anti-crease cycles.
