SYDNEY: Sunbeam has re-launched its coffee school website with a new design and offering an online booking facility for the first time.
The re-design now means visitors can now upload images of their best coffee art and watch interviews with the instructors. Those booking will also receive a reminder text message a day before the appointment.
The online booking service replaces the previous 1900 number.
All customers who purchase a Sunbeam coffee maker, excluding the EM2300, EM3600 and EM3800 models, will be eligible for a free lesson on top of their free instructional DVD packaged with each machine.
Sunbeam is also updating their in-store promotional material to match the upgraded website, with posters, header cards and beverage coasters all pointing customers to the website.
Sunbeam beverage and toaster products senior product manager, Allison Cupillari, said the new look was “very different” from anything to date.
“Visible across new in-store posters, espresso machine header cards and beverage coasters – all directing customers to the new Sunbeam Coffee School website – the design stands out in stores and reminds consumers that Sunbeam is proud to be an Australian company, designing espresso machines for Australians.”
“The school and DVD are both designed to ensure customer satisfaction with their appliance, minimising customer service calls and driving repeat business for retailers when consumers upgrade their espresso machine, or purchase grinders and other accessories,” she said.
