Miele Australia has just announced a new promotion where customers who purchase select models in Miele’s S5 range of vacuum cleaners will receive a bonus Active HEPA filter.
The filter is valued at $39.50 and will be available to customers who purchase either the Miele S 5211 ‘Care Taker’ or the S 5311+SBB ‘Hard Floor Specialist’ models over the two month promotional period between 1 May and 30 June 2009.
Kris Ronsmans, product manager, floor care products, commented that the promotion will help retailers promote the health benefits of the Miele Airclean System.
“We have fittingly chosen to launch this promotion around the time of World Asthma Day, 6 May, as the Active HEPA filter teamed up with the Miele Airclean Filtration System, found on all our vacuum cleaners, has been developed specifically with allergy and asthma sufferers in mind,” he said.
According to Ronsmans, the Active HEPA filter is ideal for use in the home as it filters out 99.5 per cent of all dust, allergens and other particles to a microscopic size of 0.3 microns. In addition it offers HEPA 12 certification and odour neutralising capabilities.
Ronsmans also highlighted that Miele was the first vacuum manufacturer to be awarded HEPA 12 certification with its guaranteed dust-tight design.

The S 5211 comes in at a RRP of $429 and the S 5311+SBB has a RRP of $529.
