UNOX was front and centre throughout the Foodservice Australia 2024 event held at the ICC Sydney from 19-21 May with its cooking appliances featured across the show floor. Foodservice Australia connects thousands of industry buyers with the latest food, drink and equipment.
On the dedicated UNOX stand, chefs demonstrated the capabilities of the UNOX Speed-X, the first self-washing combi speed oven, the Evereo, the first hot fridge that preserves cooked food at service temperature for days and the BakerLux Speed Pro, the world’s first baking speed oven.
The Sweet Spot stage saw professional chefs including Kirsten Tibballs (Savour Chocolate & Patisserie School) and Alejandro Luna (SONOMA) using the UNOX Commercial Combi Oven for baking demonstrations.
UNOX was once again the gold sponsor and proud presenter of the Chef of the Year competition – the most prestigious in Australia. Chefs are given one hour and a mystery box of ingredients to present the best dish. There was over $25,000 in cash and prizes to be won, including $6,000 for the winner.
