Uniden is introducing the Uniden iGo Cam 90 and 90R smart dash cams featuring ultra 4K resolution displayed across a 3.16-inch-wide angle LCD colour screen.
Offering an ultra-wide viewing angle of 135-degrees, the iGO 90R includes an additional 150-degree Full HD rear camera showing more around the vehicle.
A magnetic slide bracket positions the camera easily and discreetly, while also enabling seamless transition between cars. The iGO Cam 90 has voice control allowing users to activate certain recording features via voice when driving.
Ideal for taxi and ride share drivers, the iGO Cam 90/90R can be purchased with an optional modular plug-in internal cabin camera accessory to monitor and record activities of passengers.
Using the Uniden iGO Cam app, drivers can directly access and transfer footage to their smartphone via the camera’s in-built Wi-Fi, for easy replay and sharing of vision. When reviewing footage or incidents, the inbuilt GPS antenna can geotag the location of the footage, record direction travelling and know the vehicle’s speed.
For extra peace of mind when a vehicle is parked on the street or in a carpark, an in-built sensor will detect any sudden vibration and begin recording for a limited period, even when the engine is switched off, thanks to the Uniden Hardwire Kit (sold separately), which allows activation of this Parking Mode feature.
Both the Uniden iGO Cam 90 and 90R have large speedometer displays and provide speed and red-light camera warnings. Drivers are further assisted with inbuilt sensors to detect low external lighting conditions, prompting them to turn headlights on.
