Uniden is expanding its smart baby monitor range with the newly launched BW6101R, offering industry-leading 2K (3MP) super HD resolution.
The baby monitor has dual mode functionality, enabling parents to keep an eye on their babies from the included 5-inch colour screen HD (720p) monitor or remotely from a smartphone or tablet device from any location.
Uniden has added several features to the BW6101R, including up to four times local digital zoom via the monitor and six times remote zoom. The baby monitor comes with a multi-purpose adjustable clamp camera to secure the device to the cot, a shelf, or stand freely on a bedside table or chest of drawers. The included portable battery backup ensures the camera will continue to roll in the case of a power outage or if the camera is accidentally unplugged.
In addition to night vision, the BW6101R also includes a room temperature and humidity display function with temperature range alerts through the monitor. A customisable night light with multiple colours in animation and static mode are designed to create a calm and relaxing ambience.
Parents can also take advantage of the danger zone detection mode to mark off an area where the baby is not supposed to go and receive a notification of any activity via the app. The walkie talkie function enables parents to talk to and soothe their baby remotely with the monitor, which also comes with a selection of popular lullabies to play, including white noise.
The BW6101R is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for easy integration with a smart home setup.
