Uniden is set to add 4K to their security range with the Uniden Guardian App Cam 4K NVR.
The 24/7 wired security system hits stores in late June and has eight or 16-channel setup options, with 2TB or 3TB storage, respectively. The system comes with 4K bullet or dome camera options, each with power over ethernet capability.
The system is also compatible with existing wireless Uniden cameras including the App Cam Home+ and the App Cam Spotlight+, providing more options for camera layouts.
The 4K cameras feature smart alerts for person, vehicle, and motion detection, as well as 30 metre night vision, and a IP66 rating. Camera feeds can be tracked via Uniden’s Solo App, which also allows two-way audio functionality.
“Our new wired security system has been designed to provide consumers with greater flexibility by being able to mix-and-match the camera combination to suit the needs and layout of each property,” Uniden Australia marketing manager, Brad Hales said.
The eight channel system retails at $499.95 while the 16-channel version is $799.95. Both the bullet and dome camera options are available for RRP $249.95.
