SYDNEY: Market research firm, GfK has announced that Neville Ray will take over the consumer electronics, imaging and telecoms accounts following the resignation of Derek Nash group account director.
Nash left his role at GfK after three years with the company, to pursue other opportunities. To fill Derek’s role, GfK promoted a senior member of staff, increasing his responsibilities to manage the converging areas of Consumer Electronics, Imaging and Telecoms industries. Neville Ray, who previosuly managed the IT industry measurements, was promoted to Senior Account Director from July 1 2007.
“Neville has worked with GfK for over eight years, firstly in GfK UK and for the past three years with GfK Australia,” said Gwenno Hopkin, GfK’s commercial director.
“In this time, Neville has established himself as a market expert within the highly technical IT markets, and is well-placed to oversee the development of these additional industry segments, as the technologies between them continue to converge.”
GfK wanted to thank Derek for his valuable contribution to the business over the past few years, and to wish him the best for his future endeavours.
