Tefal steam products are the first in Australia to be tested and certified with the official claim that it ‘kills up to 99.99% of viruses, bacteria and germs’. The certification applies to all Tefal linen care products sold in Australia, from handheld steamers such as Access Steam Care, steam irons and steam stations and all-In-one solutions such as the IXEO range.
According to Tefal, an additional test on the Covid-19 virus with Tefal IXEO Power, can now make the claim to: ‘kill up to 99.99% of Sars-CoV-2 virus’.
IXEO Power was the only appliance to win a Good Design Award Best in Class accolade in 2020, for its innovation and ease of use. Tefal has also won the Product Review Award in the linen care category two years running for TurboPro steam irons.
According to Tefal, the need for sanitising solutions around the home is set to continue, as Australians look for ways to take responsibility for their health into their own hands, sanitising all types of textiles, around the home.
The company claims to be the number one linen care brand in Australia and the first to provide both styling and sanitising solutions throughout the range.
New Tefal product will be released later in 2021 designed to make sanitisation process even easier on all textiles.
