Leading sports watch brand, Suunto, is introducing the Suunto Vertical GPS adventure sports watch made from 100% renewable energy.
The product packs a battery life that enables 85 hours of continuous exercise tracking on the most accurate location tracking with the titanium solar variant, and 60 hours with the stainless steel variant. Tour mode offers 500 hours of continuous exercise tracking and in daily mode, Suunto Vertical can run for up to 60 days, or up to one year without charging for its titanium solar variant.
With more than 95 different sport modes to choose from including trail running and swimming, the Suunto Vertical helps create custom sport modes in the Suunto app to customise training or exercise routines.

The Suunto Vertical is engineered to take sports watch performance to a new level as it delivers best-in-class battery life and a wide range of features to empower and motivate,” Suunto head of Australia and New Zealand, Damian Commane said.
“While extending our deep heritage in sports watches and precision instruments, the Suunto Vertical also offers comprehensive offline maps which, when combined with battery life that is boosted by solar charging, means we can deliver our most premium product to date.”
Combined with the Suunto app and partner services, the Suunto Vertical gives users a selection of customisation options and advanced training tools. New to the Suunto app is a Training zone where users can follow their training load, progress, recovery and sleep analysis and benefit from training insights from AI-based Suunto coaches.
From a design perspective, the Suunto Vertical delivers a large 1.4-inch screen size and weighs just 74 grams (titanium model) or 86 grams (steel model). Made and designed in Finland with sapphire glass, stainless steel and grade five titanium, the Suunto Vertical is tested to the highest military standard of toughness (MIL-STD-810H). It is also waterproof to 100 metres below surface level.
The Suunto Vertical is available from Suunto.com and comes in eight different models, including four models of the Suunto Vertical Stainless Steel for $999 and four models of the Suunto Vertical Titaniium for $1,299.
The Suunto Vertical Titanium and Stainless Steel Black model will be available from Find Your Feet and Wild Earth retailers from May 26, 2023.
