V-ZUG Australia is currently recruiting to fill the role head of business development, previously held by Aaron Haynes, who has been promoted to V-ZUG UK managing director.

The head of business development will lead a team of business development managers, while driving and planning all aspects of sales in V-ZUG’s growing retail and project channels.

The recruitment drive coincides with both local and international growth for the V-ZUG brand, following the launch of the new website earlier this year and the recent launch of new products like the CombiSteamer V6000 45L Grand, which is now shown in brand displays at Winning Appliances in Redfern, Northmead and Richmond.

The CombiSteamer V6000 45L Grand is a 90cm combi-steam oven which delivers automated cooking technology and double-sided heat distribution for even and consistent cooking results. It features a minimalist design, optional AutoDoor and engraved CircleSlider for intuitive operation and precise control.

Later in the year, V-ZUG will launch a new addition to their cooling range. The WineCooler V4000 90 has two separate climate zones to store white wine and red wine in one appliance or set both zones to the same temperature for a single variety. The wine cooler features a minimalist design, Swiss beech wood shelves, handle-free SoftClose door, timer-controlled lighting, and SilentPlus function for discreet use in entertaining spaces.

The new head of business development role will be Sydney based with frequent travel to key business areas, including the main office in Melbourne.

The business development efforts are supported by a clear marketing and events plan including events within V-ZUG Studio showrooms, designed to provide stakeholders with multi-sensory brand immersion. The new V-ZUG Studio in Sydney is slated for opening during Q4 this year, following the lead from the established Melbourne space. Additional new locations are also on the agenda.

This role is also responsible for expanding the brand’s developer, designer and architect network through collaboration and brand experience events, as well as liaising with international peers and colleagues to leverage and build on international relationships and opportunities.
