ASUS has entered the next generation of AI-powered computing – in collaboration with Microsoft and Qualcomm – unveiling its new Vivobook S 15, now available for pre-order from participating retailers across Australia and New Zealand.
The Vivobook S 15 will be available to purchase in-store and online from 18 June at Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks and the ASUS E-shop for RRP $2,699.
Powered by the Snapdragon X Elite platform, the device offers Windows AI features and exclusive ASUS AI apps designed to make content creation, productivity and learning faster and easier.
The Qualcomm Hexagon NPU delivers 45 TOPS AI processing speeds for peak AI performance directly on the device, rather than through the cloud, allowing more responsive and smooth multitasking.
Reflecting ASUS’ commitment to the future of AI and its potential to revolutionise daily life, the Vivobook S 15 incorporates AI software exclusive to ASUS.
ASUS StoryCube is an AI-powered digital asset management tool that can automatically organise photos and videos, while ASUS AI Noise Cancellation reduces background noise in meetings and calls. For improved power consumption, ASUS Adaptive Dimming recognises when a user looks away and automatically dims the screen, and for greater security, ASUS Adaptive Lock automatically locks the device when the user moves away and unlocks when they return.
With a dedicated Copilot key, the Vivobook S 15 makes AI-powered content creation near-instant and more convenient, automates repetitive or manual tasks such as managing emails and organising files, and provides access to a variety of learning tools.
To fully immerse in the power of AI, the ASUS Lumina OLED display offers greater colour accuracy with Pantone validation, an 89% screen-to-body ratio, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification.
ASUS Tru2Life technology enhances videos by analysing each pixel to adjust brightness, contrast and sharpness, for the most vibrant viewing experience. OLED Care and TÜV Rheinland 70% less blue light certification help reduce eye strain during prolonged use.
The Vivobook S 15’s 3K 120Hz OLED display and Harman Kardon certified audio system with Dolby Atmos sound is encased in a premium all-metal 1.47cm thin, 1.42kg light body.
Equipped with a 70Wh battery, users can stay connected throughout the day, enjoying over 18 hours of work or play. In addition to support for fast charging and ASUS USB-C Easy Charge, the device offers up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD and 32GB of 8448 MHz LPDDR5X memory.
Combined with an array of I/O ports, including two USB4 ports, the Vivobook S 15 also incorporates Wi-Fi 7 technology and Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 technology for wireless connections up to 4.8 times faster than the previous generation.
The device is tested to the MIL-STD 810H military standard, encompassing high and low temperatures, shock, vibration, and altitude tests.
