With enhanced technology.
The Sony Z9D TV series has become available to the Australian market today. It uses the next generation in display technology with the ability to reproduce deeper blacks, brighter whites and colours.
The new Z9D series features a newly developed 4K image processor, the 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme, and unique backlight technology, Backlight Master Drive, which was initially introduced as a prototype at CES 2016. The backlight boosting technology allows it to expand brightness and contrast even further to achieve the full potential of 4K HDR.
It is further refined with 40% more real-time image processing compared with Sony’s 4K Processor X1, by incorporating three new technologies; object-based HDR remaster, dual database processing, and Super Bit Mapping 4K HDR.
The Z9D series also runs on Android TV with Sony’s exclusive user interface. Android TV allows users to unlock movies, music, photos, games, search, apps and more. Ask questions, find content and control the TV using Voice Search. Furthermore, Google Cast means content from a smartphone or tablet can easily be sent to the TV.
The Sony Z9D is available in Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Sony Kiosks and sony.com.au for RRP of $6,999.
