Sony’s new X-Series speaker range has been specially designed to provide powerful and wide-spreading sound to complement any music genre.

All speakers feature Sony’s X-Balanced Speaker Units for more sound pressure and less distortion for richer and clearer sound. The Mega Bass feature enables users to increase the bass, while Live Sound mode recreates the unique atmosphere of a live music experience.

The entire range offers Battery Care Mode to stop the speaker reaching 100% charge to increase the battery lifespan and a comfortable handle makes the speakers easy to transport.

All-new ambient lighting can be customised to suit the environment with a variety of lighting patterns to choose from, in addition to microphone input, USB ports, Bluetooth compatibility and Party Connect to sync up to 100 compatible speakers.

The hero XP700 speaker has three front tweeters and one rear tweeter for omnidirectional sound with punchy bass. It is made with durable water-repellent mesh and with an IP66 rating is water resistant and dustproof.

The XP500 and XG500 feature two front tweeters and passive radiators that are optimised to reproduce clear bass. Both speakers are IPX4 rated for water resistance.

The speaker range is compatible with Sony Music Centre to select playlists, cue songs, changing lighting patters and sound modes remotely, and Fiestable apps allows users to access unique party features such as making a playlist, karaoke functions and DJ control to add sound effects.

Available from June 2021, the Sony SRS-XP700 will retail for $699, the SRS-XG500 for $629, and the SRS-XP500 for $499.
