SodaStream Recycled Black TERRA

SodaStream Australia marks Earth Day with the launch of Recycled Black TERRA, a sparkling water maker made from 50 per cent post-industrial recycled plastic.

The company also announced that its Melbourne headquarters and warehouse are now powered entirely by renewable energy.

The new product is an eco-conscious update to SodaStream’s existing TERRA line, designed to help consumers cut down on single-use plastic by making sparkling drinks at home. According to the company, the device can replace over 1,000 plastic bottles over five years.

Meanwhile, the shift to green energy comes after the installation of solar panels at the Melbourne site, as part of SodaStream’s broader push to reduce its environmental footprint and emissions.

“By integrating recycled materials into our products and now powering our headquarters with green energy, we’re not only contributing to a circular economy but also demonstrating that sustainability and innovation can go hand-in-hand,” Holly Walker, Marketing Manager at SodaStream Australia, said.

The Recycled Black TERRA is available for $119 online and at retailers including Big W, Harvey Norman, and selected independent stores.
