Victorian-based rangehood manufacturer, Condari, has opened its first ever Melbourne showroom for its Qasair branded rangehoods.
The new showroom is located at 180 Whitehorse Road at Blackburn above the Wignells retail store that specialises in freestanding cookers, gas fireplaces and wood heaters.
Condari has been manufacturing rangehoods under the Qasair, Condor and Rangecraft brands for over 40 years. The company has been manufacturing rangehoods at the same site at Argent Place in Ringwood for over 25 years.

Condari director John Keating told Appliance Retailer it is unusual to open a showroom in your home city after four decades, but there was sufficient demand from the architectural and design community that wanted a specific space to be able to select and specify unique designs that could be manufactured in Melbourne.
“The reason I have not had a showroom in Melbourne previously is because I have traditionally directed customers – consumers as well as architects and designers – to our retail partners. There have been numerous requests for a Melbourne showroom so this is the reason why we have finally opened one,” he said.

“This is not a showroom for the public – it is designed for one-on-one appointments with architects, specifiers and interior designers.
“We already have very nice showrooms in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth and it is good to have a showroom now open in Melbourne.”
Condari claims to be the first company in the Australian market to manufacture rangehoods from 0.9mm stainless steel and incorporate all-metal four-pole motors combining high air movement and low noise level. They also claim to be the first brand to have introduced dishwasher-safe filters to the market.
