The Great Australian Bake Off is returning to Foxtel’s LifeStyle channel on Thursday 27 January with Smeg as the official supplier of major and small appliances.

The 10-episode series follows 12 amateur cooks as they navigate signature and showstopper baking challenges with bread, cake, pastry dessert and more. Assisting the cooks will be Smeg Classic ovens and cooktops, as well as a full collection of award-winning small appliances including stand mixers, hand blenders and blenders. Smeg FAB fridges in pastel blue, pastel green, cream and silver, will also adorn the Bake Off shed.

Smeg Australia national marketing manager, Livia McRobert said, “Working with the series allows Smeg to showcase the culinary credentials of our major and small appliances to an audience of highly engaged food and cooking lovers. We can’t wait to see the cooks’ creations.”

Renowned food personalities Maggie Beer and Matt Moran return for a fifth season to judge with hosts Mel Buttle and Claire Hooper. The series premieres this evening at 8:30pm.

The Great Australian Bake Off is a BBC Studios production in Australia for Foxtel based on a format created by Love Productions and licensed by BBC Studios distribution.
