Smeg showrooms in Banksmeadow, Sydney and Collingwood, Melbourne reopened on Tuesday 9 June for sales appointments, spare parts enquiries and collection, as well as cooking demonstrations. The showrooms were temporarily closed from 19 March 2020.

All visitors will be required to register, complete a checklist and undertake a temperature check.  Signage and directional arrows have been installed reminding visitors to maintain social distance and use of hygiene products is mandatory. Consumers are invited to contact the showroom sales team via showme@smeg.com.au to make a booking.

Along with face-to-face showroom bookings, virtual bookings can still be made via showme@smeg.com.au.

Due to the positive enquiry rate during lockdown, virtual showroom appointments remain available with the Smeg team able to digitally assist consumers embarking on a renovation, looking to update their appliances or seeking functional assistance.

As well as visitors, the health and safety of Smeg staff continues to remain a priority. A return to work program has been implemented which involves temperature checks and shift scheduling with split teams.

Smeg Australia managing director, Jimmy Kalotheos said, “While I am really looking forward to face-to-face interaction with our customers again, I am grateful for the effort and attitude displayed by the Smeg Australia team over the past few months, supporting and servicing our business partners.”
