Smeg has added two metallic colours to its small appliance collection with the introduction of a gold and rose gold kettle and two-slice toaster.

Created in collaboration with Matteo Bazzicalupo and Raffaella Mangiarotti from deepdesign, the metallics have been crafted to make a style statement in any home.

Smeg Australia managing director, Wayne Campbell said, “We are delighted to expand our small appliance breakfast collection with on-trend metallics and provide another opportunity for consumers to express their individuality in the kitchen. We also know consumers love and trust Smeg’s unique combination of covetable, award-winning design, technical innovation and premium quality.”

With signature curves complemented by sleek chrome and stainless steel details, Smeg’s gold and rose gold kettles add a splash of personality and style. The 1.7 litre capacity jug with 2400-watt element features a 360 degree swivel base and removable limescale filter for ease of use while auto and boil-dry switch-off ensure safety and a double wall body will maintain temperature while the external surface remains cool to touch.

The two-slice toaster features two extra wide slots, ideal for hand cut artisanal bread, six browning levels across three pre-set functions and shiny exterior finish. It can defrost, reheat and toast.

Smeg KLF03 kettle and TSF01 two-slice toaster in gold and rose gold will be available from Smeg small appliance retailers in November for RRP $299 each.
