Samsung Electronics Australia has unveiled its most affordable 5G smartphone with a price tag of $599.

The new Galaxy A42 5G smartphone further strengthens its A Series line-up and brings 5G connectivity for fast streaming and download speeds with less lag and peak performance for mobile games and video content on-the-go. It is packed with innovation already found in the Galaxy A Series, including a Quad Camera, Infinity-U Display and long-lasting battery.

The 6.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display brings movies to life in cinematic clarity and is supported by the Fast Charging 5,000mAh battery. The multi-role Quad Camera features a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro camera and 5MP depth camera. There is also a 20MP selfie camera on the front for selfies and video calls. There is 128GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM, along with MicroSD support up to 1TB.

The Galaxy A42 5G is available now in Australia in three colours: Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White and Prism Dot Grey for RRP $599.
