Samsung Electronics Australia is rolling out the Family Hub 6.0 French Door refrigerator range, debuting new software enhancements and featuring the new Beverage Centre with Autofill Infuser Jug.

The sixth iteration of the Family Hub is built to keep families more closely connected at home, according to Samsung Australia director of home appliances, Andrew Wand.

“Features such as Family Board and View Inside continue to evolve so families can stay organised. Building on the Family Hub variety of smart features, the Samsung Family Hub 6.0 now includes the new Beverage Centre to always have cold fresh water on hand, simplifying the act of entertaining from home,” he said.

Users can access personalised recipes and meal plans, in addition to ordering groceries to their door. They can also watch TV on the home screen, access apps on their smartphone or listen to music while in the kitchen.

The new 9000 Series Family Hub incorporates the new Beverage Centre with Autofill Infuser Jug and water dispenser located inside the door for fresh cold drinking water on tap. The Dual Ice Maker can hold over 3kg of regular ice cubes and small ‘ice bites’ to chill drinks faster.

Its indoor Metal Cooling plate helps the fridge maintain optimal temperatures, while Triple Cooling helps keep food fresher for longer and prevents the mixing of odours between compartments.

The exterior of the Family Hub has been enhanced with the addition of a stylish black variant to complement the recessed handles and flat door design with fingerprint resistant finish.

The 9300 model is now available for RRP $4,999 and the 9700 model retails for $5,999. Customers with a Family Hub 2.0 to 5.0 will receive the 6.0 software update in Q3 2021.
