Whirlpool Australia is continuing to restructure internally, making another round of staff changes the company said demonstrated a continuing focus on key businesses with the appointment of Sean Beer to national account manager.

Beer, who has been with Whirlpool for the past nine years, will be responsible for Harvey Norman and Retravision , allowing Steve Curtis to look after The Good Guys, Narta and BSL.

Beer has risen through the ranks at Whirlpool since arriving from NEC in 1997, holding various sales and business management roles, most recently in sales operations, responsible for Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Other changes see Marc Jarvis and Adrian Cugnetto promoted to assistant product managers, Robert Rondo moving to technical development specialist and Sanjay Prasad is new business development manager.

Whirlpool has also appointed Con Panoussis as senior accountant and Arj Suraweera as accountant for the company.

The new look Whirlpool follows the acquisition of Maytag earlier this year. Further announcements will be made shortly.
