Panasonic Australia has launched a multi-platform marketing campaign to showcase its air-conditioning range and remind Australians about the importance of air purification this summer.

The new ‘Unwanted Guests’ campaign draws attention to bacteria, viruses, moulds and allergens by highlighting the air purification capabilities of Panasonic’s nanoe-X technology.

The campaign features Panasonic’s Premium Reverse Cycle R32 Wall Split System Z Series range, which actively reduces unwanted pollutants, while delivering both cooling comfort and clean, healthy air. From early 2021, air purification is also being rolled out into Panasonic’s ducted systems.

The TVC is a light-hearted journey through the home, where characters represent allergens and bad odours that can unknowingly take residence in the air and on surfaces, before seeing them neutralised by the nanoe-X function.

The ‘Unwanted Guests’ campaign is being executed across television, digital, social, traditional media and digital radio until the end of March 2021. The campaign TVC can be viewed here.

Panasonic Australia senior product marketing manager for air conditioning, Joe De Bella said the campaign puts a spotlight on the ‘Unwanted Guests’ in homes and showcases the company’s innovative air-conditioning solutions.

“Air purifying systems are proving increasingly important to households, and not just beneficial for those living with conditions such as asthma. Families are spending more time at home and are concerned about germs as well as environmental factors such as the bushfire season. Panasonic wants to give Australians peace of mind when indoors this summer.”
