Panasonic has introduced the NN-CT56M Convection Microwave Oven that can bake, grill and microwave in one, alongside several cooking modes.

With 1,000-watts of microwave inverter power, a 1,300-watts Quartz grill and built-in 100 degrees to 220 degrees Celsius convection range, the NN-CT56M can cook a wide variety of meals, while the convection oven mode can bake and roast with ease.

Combination cooking leverages the efficiency of inverter microwave power with roasting/grilling from the convection oven mode. There are also 29 auto menu programs including a ‘quick 30’ option for those limited on time.

10 menu options use a combination of microwave and grill/convection cooking, including an auto roast option. Another eight options are available for cooking or reheating meals such as roast chicken, casserole or fish and chips. Panasonic’s inverter turbo defrost technology helps defrost food more evenly while also saving time.

Junior auto cook programs feature eight recipes for children to enjoy including puréed fruits and vegetables, pasta bake, vegetable fries and more.

Panasonic Australia product marketing manager for microwave ovens, Chasnyn Ousmand said convection microwave ovens are paving the way for the future of cooking with energy efficiency, foolproof multifunction cooking and space saving benefits.

“Our longstanding history of top performing microwaves is a result of rigorous research to understand the needs of our consumers. The NN-CT56M Convection Microwave Oven delivers on this, with impressive cooking convenience in a compact design we know users will love.”

A recent Panasonic Australia survey found that 57% of users say their convection microwave has changed the way they cook while almost half (48%) hardly use their traditional oven after purchasing a convection microwave.

The Panasonic NN-CT56M Convection Microwave Oven is now available for RRP $529 in a black finish from leading consumer electronics retailers.
