OPPO Australia is releasing the OPPO A58 smartphone offering features usually reserved for mid-range or flagship devices including a 6.72-inch FHD+ sunlight display, upgraded dual stereo speakers, 5,000mAh battery and 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology for RRP $299.
Available in two colour finishes – Glowing Black and Dazzling Green – the OPPO A58 weighs approximately 192 grams and measures only 7.99mm in thickness.
Its 6.72-inch FHD+ sunlight display provides 680 nits peak brightness, making it easier to view photos or read text under bright sunlight. With a 2400×1080 high resolution and support for 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, the display renders vibrant content and sharp text. The All-Day AI Eye Comfort feature makes it comfortable for extended use, day or night.
The OPPO A58 is equipped with upgraded dual stereo speakers to produce sound 40% louder than the previous generation. An upgraded Ultra Volume Mode maximises the loudness of the speakers up to 300%. There’s also options to increase the maximum volume of earpieces by up to 200% during phone calls or voice calls on WhatsApp and Messenger.
Equipped with a 50MP AI Camera, users can capture crystal-clear, high-resolution images. Combined with the 2MP Portrait Camera for background blur to highlight the subject in Portrait Mode. With an 8MP front-facing camera, the OPPO A58 delivers better selfies and enhanced video call quality.
Thanks to the large 5,000mAh battery, OPPO A58 users can enjoy 32 hours of phone calls, 16 hours of YouTube viewing, or five hours of gaming on a single charge. The smartphone also features a 33W SUPERVOOC flash charge for 100% battery in just 75 minutes. A quick 5-minute charge ensures 3.39 hours of phone calls, while the All-day AI Power Saving feature supports 91 minutes of phone calls with only 5% battery.
Designed with durability in mind, the OPPO A58 has an IPX4 rating and is protected from common spills and dust. The device has also passed six major tests that measure resistance to physical drops, water, radiation, climate damage, repeated small drops, and signal stability.
