OPPO has launched a new addition to its A Series smartphone range with the A76, retailing for $349.
Boasting OPPO’s proprietary Glow Design that is smooth to the touch, and fingerprint, scratch and dirt resistant, the A76 comes in new brighter, textured colour options Glowing Blue or Glowing Black.
Featuring a 6.56-inch HD display with an 89.9% screen-to-body ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate, the fingerprint sensor is now located on the side of the phone.
The A76 is the first A series device to be equipped with OPPO’s SUPERVOOC fast charging technology. A five-minute charge to its 5000 mAh battery allows for over three hours talk time. The device also comes with Super Power Saving Mode, Super Nighttime Standby and Optimised Night Charging, promising a long-lasting user experience.
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, the A76 offers 4GB + 128GB, allows microSD storage expansion up to 1TB and supports the RAM Expansion feature.
Featuring a premium dual camera module layout, the A76 carries an 8MP front-facing camera with a pixel size of 1.12um and an aperture of f2.0, producing portrait shots up to 3264 x 2448 resolution, which have been improved with the inclusion of 360-degree Fill Light, AI natural retouching, and High Dynamic Range.
The rear dual camera setup features a 13MP f2.2 main sensor on top and a 2MP secondary bokeh camera on the bottom, to leverage Portrait Mode for shallow depth-of-field shots where the bokeh looks more precise and natural, while the blurred edge processing adds more detail. The camera also supports 6x digital zoom and up to 20 continuous burst shots. An AI Palette is included as an after-effect editing feature.
