OPPO has launched the latest addition to its A Series smartphone line-up, the A54s, with large 6.52-inch Eye Care display, AI-powered triple camera and 5000mAh battery.

The A54s offers a contemporary new slim finish measuring 8.4mm in thickness and weighing just 190 grams with side fingerprint scanner and face unlock capabilities.

The 6.52-inch Eye Care display is designed with the user’s eye health at its core by dimming or brightening the screen automatically based on lighting conditions. The AI Smart Backlighting function automates brightness habits and provides a customised backlight experience.

Comprising a 50MP main camera with 2PM depth (Bokeh) and 2MP macro camera, the A54s triple lens is supported by an 8MP front camera.

The 5000mAh battery promises up to 34 hours of call time, or 21 hours of video streaming playback. Sophisticated optimisation technology effectively reduces battery consumption when the phone is idle and activating Super Nighttime Standby offers eight hours of capacity, while only consuming 1.32% power.

ColorOS 11.1 is a lightweight operating system with intuitive and flexible features, like FlexDrop, for users to keep open in full screen or as floating windows when multitasking between apps. The A54s also comes with Google Lens OCR to translate foreign languages while travelling. Plus, with Google Nearby compatibility, users can easily share photos, videos, and files with nearby friends with a simple tap.

The A54s is available in Crystal Black and Pearl Blue for RRP $299 from JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Officeworks and Australia Post.
