SYDNEY: LG Electronics has released its latest Super Multi Blue drives to the Australian market.
The two drives, the GGW-H20L and GGC-H20L, both allow customers to read both high definition disc formats, but the GGW-H20L offers a 16X DVD+/-R writing/re-writing capacity. The drive can also write to recordable Blu-ray BD-R at six times speed and read HD-DVD ROM at three times. Both drives allow users to burn to DVD±R, DVD±RW and DVD-RAM. Lightscribe is available for both models.
“LG remains a leader in providing cutting-edge technology within the digital storage market. We have responded to the increased demand for higher quality optical storage drives by providing consumers with the ability to store and record data in Blu-Ray format at an uncontested speed,” said LG Electronics’ IT category marketing manager Janelle Dilger.
Both drives are available now, with theGGW-H20L’s recommended price set at $999 and the GGC-H20L’s price set at $799.
