SYDNEY: ASUS launched its first Eee PC in late 2007 and throughout 2008 the company launched new models under the Eee PC brand name.
At CES 2009, ASUS showcased the Eee PC S101 and Eee PC S101H (hard disk version. The Eee PC S101 was launched in Australia in December 2008, while the Eee PC S101H is on target to launch in Australia early February 2009.
ASUS also showed some other extensions to the Eee range including the Eee Box compact desktop PC launched in Australia mid 2007; the Eee Keyboard PC and multi-media centre and wireless hub; the Eee Stick ‘plug and play’ full motion wireless gaming controller for the PC platform; the Eee Top all-in-one touchscreen computer with full desktop PC functionality (to launch in Australia end of January / early February 2009); and the Eee PC T91 and T101H touch tablets that are scheduled launch in Australia early in the second half of 2009.
