Woolworths' big box hardware store, Masters, is offering a 5 per cent discount to qualifying tradespeople and builders, provided they pay for their purchases using a special Masters credit card. The discount will apply to all purchases in-store and online, with exceptions only for gift cards, trade packs and negotiated prices matches.

The release announcing this policy reads:

"Hitachi, Panasonic, Bosch Blue, James Hardie, Boral, Stegbar, Fletchers, Carter Holt Harvey and Cement Australia are just some of the major hardware and building brands on offer at Masters covering everything a tradesperson needs, from cement, timber, doors and windows to insulation, roofing, flooring and ladders.

"Plus there’s also over 35,000 home items to choose from covering lighting, paint, flooring, kitchens, outdoor furniture, appliances, gardens, walls, windows, storage and bathrooms, to suit every DIY or home renovation project.

"To redeem the 5 per cent discount, trade customers must scan their Masters Trade Member Card at the checkouts and make payment using their Trade Account card.

"The Trade Member Program also provides trade customers with unbeatable trade-only offers, product updates, incentives, competitions and promotions and is valid across all Masters stores.
