Samsung launches its new range of 4.5-star WELS rated front load washers in April 2009. The highly water efficient new range consists of three models: the WF7708N6W1, a 7-kg capacity model with 800 RPM spin speed; the WF7700N6W1, a 7-kg capacity model with 1,000 RPM spin speed and the WF8802RPF, an 8-kg capacity model with 1,200 RPM spin speed, which features Samsung’s revolutionary AirWash technology.
AirWash technology uses a unique four stage process that penetrates heated fresh air deep into fabrics to remove odours, eliminating the need to use water and detergents. Not only does this have less impact on the environment, which is an important feature to environmentally conscious consumers, it also saves the user money, which is equally important given the current economic climate.
Even delicate items frequently sent to the dry cleaners, such as wool suits and sweaters are perfectly treatable with AirWash, making expensive trips to the dry cleaners a thing of the past.
The new WF8802RPF (RRP $1,299) also features a Diamond Drum which provides a gentler wash and an extra wide 48 cm door which provides a 20 per cent larger opening for easy loading and unloading, which is especially helpful when washing bulky items such as blankets and bedding.
