Navman is introducing what it claims to be its best dash cam to date, bringing together industry-leading features for the MiVue Pro 4K and MiVue Pro 4K DC (dual camera).

The front camera of the MiVue Pro 4K records in true 4K (3840 x 2160P) at 30 frames per second. It has a large 1/1.8-inch low light sensor for greater clarity even in dark situations making details like number plates and street signs easy to read. The dash cam is GPS tagged with precise coordinates of any accident site, along with details of the direction of impact thanks to the built-in three-axis G-sensor.

The rear camera on the MiVue Pro 4K DC has a premium STARVIS sensor and field of vision of 135 degrees, and records at 30fps in 2560 x 1440P or 2.5K.

Both the MiVue Pro 4K and MiVue Pro 4K DC can be operated by voice command to verbally tell the device to start recording, deliver Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) warnings, front collision warnings, stop and go warnings (FDWS) and lane departure warning system (LDWS). The MiVue Pro 4K DC also has rear collision warnings (RCW) if someone is following too close behind.

There are also safety camera alerts which drivers can update monthly over the air for school zones, railways crossings, speed, and more.

For added protection, the addition of a SmartBox (RRP $79 plus installation) acts as a continuous power source and enables the dash cam’s parking mode to work even when the engine is switched off, activating recording via smart motion detection. A 2.7-inch LCD screen on the front camera allows drivers to review footage on the screen but also offers faster file download with Wi-Fi via EzyShare instantly on the MiVue Pro app.

The MiVue Pro 4K and MiVue Pro 4K DC are now available for RRP $369 and $529 respectively.
