At Mobile World Congress 2024, OPPO showcased new products that will be launching in the Australian market this year, including the OPPO Reno11 F 5G handset and a new TWS audio offering, the OPPO Enco Buds2 Pro, in addition to prototype assisted reality glasses, the OPPO Air Glass 3.

The OPPO Reno11 F 5G features a slim and lightweight design at 7.54mm thin and 177 grams with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED Borderless display with 93.4% screen-to-body ratio. Reno11 F 5G’s 10-bit AMOLED screen showcases over one billion colours matched with a peak brightness of 1,100 nits for true-to-life visuals, or 2160Hz PWM dimming below 90 nits for a more eye-friendly experience.

The 64MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera is supported by OPPO’s intelligent night mode and a versatile 25mm wide angle. For expansive landscapes, the ultra-wide 8MP camera covers a 112-degree field of view, and 4K video can be recorded from both the main camera and 32MP selfie camera.

Reno11 F 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, delivering 6nm computing for seamless multi-tasking, gaming and 4K video capture. Up to 8GB RAM and an additional 8GB available with RAM Expansion means Reno11 F 5G can work across multiple apps and games without background apps being closed. Users also benefit from 256GB storage and storage expansion of up to 2TB via microSD card.

The 5,000mAh battery promises to deliver connectivity for a full day and with 67W SUPERVOOC Flash Charging, Reno11 F 5G can charge to 30% in 10 minutes and reach 100% in 48 minutes.

The Reno11 F 5G is confirmed for an Australian launch in Q2 of 2024, with local pricing and availability to be announced.

Combining high-quality sound with long-lasting battery life, Enco Buds2 Pro features 12.4mm extra-large divers, which deliver superior sound for maximum immersion.

With Enco Master Equaliser, listeners can choose from three sound profiles: Balanced, Bass and Bold. When Enco Buds2 Pro is paired with an OPPO smartphone, unlock Dolby Atmos and Dirac Audio Tuner for further audio optimisation. Customise the experience depending on the environment, or activate an adaptive profile based on what’s playing.

With dual microphones and AI Clear Call Algorithm, Enco Buds2 Pro empowers quality conversations without interruption or distraction. This dual-microphone information is analysed to separate background noise, improving call clarity.

Enco Buds2 Pro deliver up to eight hours on a single charge, or call for up to four hours. Factor in the charging case and battery life extends to 38 hours of music playback and 20 hours of call time. 

Enco Buds2 Pro will be available to purchase in Australia from 1 March at OPPO Australia’s online store at RRP $99.

Thanks to its ability to understand various data types, including text, images, video, and audio, multimodal AI technology can process and interpret more complex user scenarios. While XR (extended reality) devices present new possibilities in implementing these features, they require both advanced functionality and lightweight designs. Driven by this vision, OPPO has introduced the OPPO Air Glass 3 prototype to explore the possibilities of AI technology based on cross-device collaboration between XR devices and smartphones.

Weighing just 50 grams, the OPPO Air Glass 3 features a self-developed resin waveguide with a refractive index of 1.70, display brightness uniformity of more than 50%, and a peak eye brightness of more than 1,000 nits. Together, these ensure the OPPO Air Glass 3 provides a wearing experience close to that of regular glasses and the best full-colour display of its kind. Thanks to OPPO AndesGPT provided by the Air Glass app on smartphone, users only need to lightly press the temple of the OPPO Air Glass 3 to activate the AI voice assistant and begin performing tasks.

The OPPO Air Glass 3 supports touch interaction, which can be used for music playback, voice calls, information display, colour image browsing, and more. The glasses also feature reverse sound field technology, an open acoustic design with four microphones, and improvements to noise isolation to deliver high audio quality and enhanced privacy protection.
