Mitsubishi Electric Australia celebrated the success of its Diamond Dealer Network at the annual Diamond Dealer Awards Weekend in Hobart, Tasmania, following the cancellation of the 2020 Awards due to Covid-19.

All dealers attended an informative business session on Saturday morning (pictured below) with Australian economist, Saul Eslake who shared insights into the economy, consumer confidence, as well as the construction and building sector for now and into the future.

Eslake was followed by keynote speaker, Todd Russell, a survivor of the 2006 Beaconsfield Mine collapse, who shared his challenging, inspirational and emotional story.

Mitsubishi Electric general manager – LEG national sales, Zane Barron said the Awards Weekend was the first opportunity to reconnect with dealers in person after a difficult year.

“The awards weekend is a celebration of the shared success, and we take this opportunity to thank every dealer for their support throughout what was a challenging year,” he said.

The gala ball was hosted by Australian comedian, actor, radio and TV presenter, Ed Kavalee, which saw 38 Sales Excellence Awards, 15 Regional Dealer Awards and three General Manager Awards handed out.
