Sunbeam has announced that it will be maintaining its strong presence in reality TV, with the company set to return as the exclusive small kitchen appliances provider to the cooking program 'My Kitchen Rules'.

The reality cooking show, which will begin airing its third season on Sunday night, features ten teams of two from around Australia and New Zealand. The couples will compete against each other to create a restaurant-style meal in an ordinary home, using appliances from Sunbeam to help prepare the dishes.

“Sunbeam’s diverse range of food preparation appliances lends itself so well to Australia’s highly successful reality cooking shows,” said Sunbeam marketing manager Nicole Cowley. “Our products are designed with passionate home cooks in mind and reality cooking shows such as MKR look to uncover and celebrate such talent.

“These programs display our products in a fantastic context and go a long way in educating consumers on how to use them in their own homes.”

Some of the Sunbeam products to be used in the show include the Mixmaster Hand Mixer (JM6600), the Café Series Blender (PB9500), Café Series Food Processor (LC8900), Ultra Deep Fryer (DF7700), and the Cafe Series Juice Extractor (JE8600).

The new season of My Kitchen Rules will be the second that Sunbeam has been involved in as an appliance supplier.
