2024 marks 125 years in business for Miele and to celebrate, the company is pledging even greater support for its customers and the planet by spotlighting its Experience Centres across Australia and New Zealand and increasing its sustainability commitments.

A new series of workshops has been designed to ensure customers get the most out of their Miele appliances, enjoy peace of mind and unparalleled support.

Inviting customers and partners, a new series of masterclasses designed to inspire cocktail menus, have been introduced to the Experience Centres as part of the celebrations, where guests will also be treated to a complimentary cookbook with Miele recipes.

“For over a century, Miele has been at the forefront of offering products that blend seamlessly into the lives of customers while reducing its impact on the environment. This anniversary is an opportunity to reinforce our dedication to excellence and sustainability, with customer experience at the heart,” Miele Australia and New Zealand managing director, Yves Dalcourt said.

As a continuation of the company’s brand philosophy of Immer Besser – Forever Better – Miele Experience Centres across the ANZ region offer a unique and personalised shopping environment where customers are welcomed with a cup of coffee and receive one-on-one support.

A dedicated Customer Care Centre, accessible through an intuitive online portal, makes the appliance experience seamless from installation to ongoing maintenance. It’s designed to be an end-to-end service from delivery and set up to the responsible removal and recycling of packaging material and old appliances.

“While some companies would take the opportunity on a milestone like this to celebrate themselves, Miele has always been different in this respect. Instead, we see this milestone as an opportunity to celebrate our customers and increase our commitments to sustainability,” Dalcourt added.

Sustainability is woven into every aspect of Miele’s operations, with the company now employing hybrid vehicles which has reduced its fuel consumption by 25%. It has also reduced its ecological footprint by 51% since 2019 and achieved 100% green electricity and CO2 neutral operations across all sites.
