Electrolux Home Products sales director, Michael Doyle departed the company after four years. Shortly after, Chris Coen was officially appointed sales director after serving in an interim capacity.

Coen was previously product line director for taste for over 12 months and has been with Electrolux for the past 14 years.

Electrolux general manager for Australia and New Zealand, John Featherstone said: “I am pleased to announce that Chris Coen has been appointed to lead the Australian sales team as director – sales. Chris has been serving in an interim capacity following the recent departure of Michael Doyle.

“I would also like to acknowledge the great service Michael gave over the previous four years and thank him for his work over this period. I wish Michael the very best for the future.

“My sincere congratulations to Chris for every success in his new role.”

Doyle has spent over two decades in the appliance and consumer electronics industry in Australia, including as director of LG Electronics and national sales manager at Hitachi and Panasonic.

Earlier this year, Doyle was the country head of Electrolux and acting general manager, pending the appointment of a successor to former Electrolux Home Products Australia and New Zealand managing director, Mike Putt.

Doyle was actively involved in the recent transformation of Electrolux introducing the E100 and Westinghouse products and is widely regarded as a sales professional with some of the strongest relationships in the appliance industry.
