Panasonic Australia has launched a major trade promotion, ‘LUMIX – Shoot for New Zealand’, where the top performing salespeople from around Australia will win a great photographic opportunity in New Zealand.

All that the salespeople have to do is enrol in the LUMIX Academy and record every LUMIX sale during the promotional period — they will earn the points for every sale. At the completion of the period, the winners will be announced and be awarded with an opportunity to join LUMIX ambassador, Ken Duncan, on a photographic tour of Queenstown, New Zealand.

The promotion began on 9 March and concludes on 30 June 2009. To be eligible, all sales must be logged between 23 March and 3 July 2009.

Alistair Robins, category marketing manager at Panasonic said “in 2008, Panasonic’s successful ‘Shoot for Japan’ promotion rewarded 100 top-selling retail staff with an amazing trip to Japan where they experienced an exclusive tour of the Yamagata LUMIX factory”.

“This year, we are delighted to launch this exciting and educational promotion ‘Shoot for New Zealand’, which gives salespeople a chance to earn a ticket to Queenstown alongside Australian photography-legend, Ken Duncan.”

To help encourage retailers and give them the best possible opportunity to sell the most LUMIX cameras, Panasonic will provide retailers with training services, Robins commented on this.

“Panasonic will provide retailers with industry-leading training so they can confidently demonstrate the benefits of LUMIX cameras including easy-to-use Intelligent Auto, high quality Leica lenses and the new AVCHD Lite HD movie capture, making it easier and more rewarding than ever to sell LUMIX.”

The top 100 performing salespeople will also receive a new LUMIX FT1. In addition Panasonic will also offer a monthly prize of a LUMIX DMC-TZ7, just by answering a few monthly questions.

To sign up for the academy and be in the running, salespeople from around the country are encouraged to visit the website www.lumix-ia.com.au.
