A select number of major suppliers showcased their current and upcoming product range to Bi-Rite members at the group’s national conference in Brisbane.

Bissell

Marie Worthington Eyre and Peter Cosgrove highlighted Bissell’s latest floorcare products launching in October, including the CrossWave Max Turbo, CrossWave HF3 and SpinWave R5. Bissell also previewed an upgrade of the current Revolution Refresh and confirmed a TVC campaign from December to February.

Beko

Dan Pittman reinforced Beko’s strong sustainability credentials including its appliances being made in Europe with a five-year warranty, and Beko’s parent company, Arcelik has been named the most sustainable home appliance brand in the world. Beko will be launching a new dishwasher and coffee machine range in 2023 with sustainability at the core of the products.

Eddie Gaymer confirmed that Beko will be rolling out new point of sale material made from recycled and recyclable material, before highlighting the recently launched AeroPerfect oven range and a laundry range with Steam Refresh function.

Breville

Barry Lee and Judy McConville presented a range of Breville products including the Barista Express Impress, The Quick Cook Go induction cooktop, and The AquaStation Chilled and Chilled + Hot for filtered water on tap. Breville also presented its new training app, The Showroom. (Feature image)

ChiQ

Hubert Reed presented the ChiQ refrigerator range which includes pigeon pairs, uprights, multi-doors and retro models, as well as the new 8kg top load washing machine and washer/dryer combo with a unique condensation pan for faster drying times. ChiQ is also offering a five-year warranty on its 43- to 75-inch TVs until the end of January 2023.

Electrolux Home Products

Phil Russell provided an update on recently launched and soon-to-launch Electrolux air purifiers and robotic vacuum cleaners, Vintec wine cabinets, as well as an expansion of the 7000 Series BeefEater BBQ range with new control panel.

He also presented the new Electrolux washing machines and heat pump dryers, Westinghouse top load and front load washing machines, Electrolux dishwashers with MaxiFlex cutlery drawer, TasteSealFlex Electrolux and Westinghouse multi-door refrigerators. Russell also previewed a new Westinghouse microwave oven with a handle free design.

Fisher & Paykel / Haier

Shayne Frater discussed the latest Fisher & Paykel refrigerators with variable temperature zones and ActiveSmart technology to keep food fresher for longer. The refrigeration range is currently supported by a premium wine promotion.

Fisher & Paykel was rated most trusted brand in the dishwasher category by Readers Digest in 2022 with the freestanding and dish drawer products highlighted in the presentation. Fisher & Paykel was also recognised as most trusted brand in the laundry category by Readers Digest in 2022. The SmartDrive motor is a key feature of the range in addition to the Add Garment feature.

For Haier, the focus was on new refrigerators with anti-bacterial treatment that promises to remove 99.9% of bacteria, new top load and front load washing machines, the Pinnacle air conditioning range and the recently launched Haier cooking range, incorporating ovens, cooktops and rangehoods, with Justine Schofield appointed as brand ambassador.

Haier offers a 12 year compressor warranty on all of its refrigerators and there is a $200 cashback campaign on all new Haier fridges until the end of January 2023.

Hisense

Cory Foster took members through the Hisense TV range, Australia’s first 7-star rated refrigerator and new Hisense Quad Door refrigerator with an anti-bacterial Eclipse dark interior to help prevent bacterial growth to improve food hygiene and avoid odours. Hisense will also be launching both price and consumer promotions on all Hisense products to support its partnership with FIFA World Cup.

LG Electronics

John Paul O’Connor discussed the latest LG OLED TVs and highlighted the significant marketing investment behind the new QNED Mini LED, as well as the current gift card promotion available on selected LG QNED and Nanocell TVs. He also previewed LG’s Wowcast wireless dongle that wirelessly connects an LG soundbar to any TV without the need for a HDMI cable.

Adam Lesler presented a select range of LG refrigerators, washing machines and floorcare products, explaining each of their key features and benefits.

Spectrum Brands

Donna Daly and Priscilla Denholm showcased new products from Russell Hobbs, George Foreman and Remington. The Russell Hobbs small appliance collection is welcoming a new air fryer, blender, toaster and kettle, in addition to two new irons, including a cordless model.

A new George Foreman grill comes with a removable element making the top and bottom plates dishwasher safe for easier cleaning.

The Remington personal care collection is expanding with a new Limitless shaver range including a model with turbo function designed for a quicker shave and more coarse hair types, a hair dryer that comes with a diffuser attachment and velvet case, and a hair dryer and straightener with coconut oil infused ceramic plates.

Sunbeam

Michael Byers from Sunbeam discussed the latest innovations including the Compact Barista coffee machine, Iced Coffee Machine and MixMaster stand mixer with HeatSoft technology. Sunbeam is also introducing new air purifiers including a truly wireless portable model designed for personal use, new sandwich press with AnyHeight feature and new 5L air fryer with Diamond Force coating.

The latest CrockPot multi-cooker with easy release steam function will be supported by a gift with purchase promotion with Sistema containers, and the VS6100 FoodSaver will be replaced by the VS2198.

TCL

Troy Emke provided an overview of TCL, reinforcing the company is more than just a TV brand with a range of refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, portable air conditioning and split systems. He also discussed TCL’s TV and soundbar strategy. In support of its partnership with the Melbourne Cup, TCL is delivering a gift card promotion up to the value of $1,000.
