PC peripheral manufacturer Logitech through its Logitech G label is bucking the trend when it comes to gaming accessories, with the announcement its high-end Pro X Superlight wireless mouse is now available in pink.

Many gaming technology companies are known for producing hardware in LED light-laden black or grey, with not much variation for gamers who want to show some personality through their gear.

Previously only available in black or white, the pink version of the Pro X Superlight adds to Logitech’s growing range of peripherals including mice, headphones and keyboards.

The Pro X Superlight is Logitech’s lightest and fastest gaming mouse, weighing in at only 63 grams. In addition to wired compatibility, the mouse also uses Lightspeed 2.4 GHz wireless technology for up to 70 hours of wireless play.

Designed for precision, the Pro X Superlight uses Logitech G’s Hero 25K sensor with a sensitivity of up to 25,600 DPI, capable of tracking quick and small movements suited for competitive gaming sessions.

Coloured gaming accessories are hard to come by, although the trend is turning towards more customisation and options for gamers.

Several of Logitech’s G series products offer different colour options or add-ons, such as the G305 Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse range in addition to the G733 and G335 headsets. However, the pink option for the Pro X Superlight marks one of the first colour variations for a product designed specifically for high-level competitive play.

The pink version of the Pro X Superlight is available to order now at a retail price of $279.95.
