LG Electronics Australia has confirmed pricing and availability of its latest lifestyle screen models, the LG StanbyME (27ART10) and LG OLED Flex (LX3).

Available for pre-order online at leading retailers and in-store in the coming months, eligible purchases of the LG StanbyME and LG OLED Flex will also receive an offer when purchased by 12 October 2023.

Purchases of the LG StanbyME online will receive up to a $200 retailer gift card off the RRP o$1,999, while online purchases of the LG OLED Flex will receive up to a $500 retailer gift card off the RRP of $4,999.

LG Electronics Australia marketing manager for home entertainment, Tony Brown hopes the bonus gift card offer will incentivise consumers to try the company’s latest home entertainment technologies ahead of key sales periods including Black Friday.

“While many Australians have faced tough economic times this year, the last quarter is set to be the best time to shop for those big-ticket household products. This latest promotion in partnership with our retail partners is yet another way we are helping Australians upgrade their home entertainment set up,” he said.

The LG StanbyME is a portable display with a 27-inch Full-HD touch smart screen, rechargeable battery that lasts up to three hours and five wheels hidden in the base. Offering multiple adjustment options, the screen can rotate up to 180 degrees, swivel to 130 degrees, tilt to 50 degrees, and move vertically by 20cm.

Featuring Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, users can wirelessly mirror content from a compatible phone, tablet or laptop with a simple tap to the back of the LG StanbyME screen. The inclusion of built-in OTT streaming services provides access to content on platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and more. Apple AirPlay 2 and Apple HomeKit enables streaming, sharing and mirroring from iPhone, iPad or Mac.

Boasting a bendable 42-inch OLED screen, the LG OLED Flex curvature can be adjusted up to a 900R curve and gradations in between, along 20 incremental settings. Built for gaming, the OLED Flex also features G-SYNC compatibility and AMD FreeSync, enhancing gaming visuals without tearing, stuttering or input lag. It also supports Dolby Vision gaming at 4K 120Hz and includes HDMI 2.1 features as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).

Users can adjust the height, tilt and resize the picture from 42-inches to 32- and 27-inches. The LG OLED Flex also features a built-in microphone with noise cancellation and 40W front-firing speakers with 2.2 channel surround sound and Dolby Atmos.  

The LG StanbyME (27ART10) and LG OLED Flex (LX3) are available for pre-order now online for RRP $1,999 and $4,999 respectively.
