SYDNEY: Fujitsu General Australia has released figures on its most successful promotion of all time, the Fujitsu Free Money campaign, with the deal now extending into its second year.

The objective of the Free Money promotion was to offer cash-back via a customised Prepaid Visa Card as opposed to a traditional cheque or products reward. When launched, it was the first cash-back program of its kind, for both Fujitsu and the Australian market, where the funds were issued on a prepaid Visa card.

According to Fujitsu, the public reaction to the promotion far exceeded expectations, with over $8 million redeemed via prepaid Visa cards over a five month period. Additionally, over three-times the purchases and claims of the previous year’s promotion were made, with the promotion already well on its way to again eclipse the market this year.
