Lenovo’s 2023 Yoga laptop line-up is being released in Australia and New Zealand, including the Yoga Book 9i – the world’s first full-sized OLED dual-screen laptop – housed in a premium Tidal Teal colourway.
Powered by 13th Gen Intel Core processors, offering faster and more efficient productivity and responsiveness, the latest laptop line-up is ideal for demanding workloads to enhance creation and productivity experiences. The Intel Evo platform sets a new benchmark for processing power, connectivity, and battery life to better support users on the go.
The flexible Yoga Book 9i weighs as little as 1.34kg and is only 15.95mm in thickness. First announced at CES 2023, the convertible laptop redefines the category with dual-screen versatility, multi-mode functionality, and enhanced entertainment capabilities.
With new technology pioneered by Lenovo, Multimode+ enables the Yoga Book 9i to instantly take on various forms and orientations from laptop, tablet, or display mode to new book, scroll and tent modes, supported by a 360-degree soundbar hinge.
The dual displays elevate productivity and support the demands of creators, who can easily view various files on both windows simultaneously. The dual-screen experience is enhanced by Lenovo PureSight OLED displays that support 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy,enabling perfect blacks and ultra-wide viewing with minimal colour shift or brightness and contrast loss.
Accessories including the foldable Folio Stand, Bluetooth Keyboard and Digital Pen 3 come in the box, providing users with added versatility.
The Yoga Book 9i is Carbon Neutral Certified and the top cover of the device is made of 100% recycled aluminium, while the packaging is plastic-free, containing 100% recycled paper.
The Yoga Book 9i is supported by the Yoga Pro 9i in 14.5-inch and 16-inch screen sizes, and Yoga Pro 7i in 14.5-inch. The Gen 8 Yoga Pro devices features the new Lenovo Premium Suite, which includes four microphones, four noise reduction speakers, quieter fans, and a larger trackpad.
The flagship Yoga Pro 9i also comes with an upgraded version of Lenovo X Power – a set of top-tier hardware and finely tuned software features that work together for a faster and smoother creative experience.
Users will also notice improved performance, stability, and faster video editing with sped-up software preview, rendering and exports, thanks to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics certified for NVIDIA Studio Premium and AI acceleration.
The new Mini-LED PureSight Pro Display in both 14.5-inch and 16-inch screens, bringing a wider range of colour and contrast, brightness of up to 1,200 nits, and a sharper and more realistic visual experience.
The Yoga Pro 7i features a 14.5-inch PureSight Pro display with up to 3K resolution, 400 nits brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate combined with NVIDIA RTX 4050 laptop GPUs and is NVIDIA Studio certified. With a large 73 watt-hour battery and Rapid Charge Express technology, this laptop delivers a quieter and cooler experience.
Lenovo also announced the Yoga Slim line-up, known for its ease of mobility. The new 13-inch Yoga Slim 7i Carbon and 14-inch Yoga Slim 6i in 14-inch come with military-grade design certifications that ensure devices can withstand on-the-go lifestyles.
Weighing just under a kilogram, the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon is lightweight and has been tested to withstand 21 MIL-STD 810H durability tests. The top cover is constructed from aero-grade, proprietary carbon fiber, with 25% higher rigidity for minimal display flex. A rounded edge coupled with an edge-to-edge keyboard brings comfort and productivity for up to 14.5 hours on the 50-watt-hour battery.
Meanwhile, the Yoga Slim 6i features a durable military-grade aluminium design chassis and vibrant display options including a 16:10 aspect ratio OLED display which supports 100% DCI-P3 colour accuracy. It also comes with up to a 65-watt-hour battery and supports Rapid Charge Express technology.
All Gen 8 Yoga devices are equipped with Dolby Atmos software for dynamic sound, while Dolby Vision enhances vibrant colours and adds clarity. The Intel Unison cross-platform software solution helps connect IOS and Android devices with the Yoga line-up for an integrated, one-screen, multi-device experience.
All Lenovo Yoga PCs also support Lenovo CO2 Offset Services, offering customers a simple way to offset carbon emissions and support one of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s projects. The 2023 Yoga line-up is also ENERGY STAR rated and EPEAT Gold-registered and includes product packaging made up of 90% recycled and renewable materials.
