Laser has unveiled the first addition to its refreshed V-Fitness-branded range with the launch of the V-Fitness Smart Fitness Watch for just $99.

It is the first in what will be a suite of new fitness and health related technology products launching in early 2021.

Compatible with Google Fit and Apple Health, the Watch features 24/7 heart rate monitoring, 12 sports modes, weather forecast, alarm clock, stopwatch and three coloured band options.

With two weeks of battery life between charges, wrist activation and IP68 water resistance rating to withstand dust, dirt or sand; consumers can enjoy convenience, customisation, durability.

More than 2.6 million smart wearables were sold locally in the first half of 2020, a 39% increase from the same period a year ago, according to a recent Telsyte study. Further, recent PwC data revealed that 69% of surveyed Australians are more focused on managing their health and wellbeing as a result of the events of 2020.
